Patricia Rea

Patricia Severn Wade Rea, 92 of Tom, passed away May 19, 2022 at Little River Nursing Home in Ashdown, Arkansas.   She was born June 7, 1929 at Tom, Oklahoma the daughter of Marcus and Bertha Jones Severn and the last of nine children.  She was a lifetime member of the Tom Church of Christ. Patricia lived in McCurtain County for most of her life.  

Known as, P.K. to the world and to her grandchildren, K.K., she enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and family, especially family reunions and get-togethers.  She made the best homemade play-doh, Thanksgiving dressing and pecan pie. 

Patricia was witty and brutally honest.  She spoke her mind often on the way she saw things.  She loved listening to music, working in her flower gardens, crocheting, cooking and shopping. She enjoyed watching sports, especially Kobe Bryant and Tiger Woods.

Patricia is survived by her children, Lujuanna Cox and husband Lemual of Tom, Jonathan B. Wade and wife Gail of Ashdown, W. Brad Wade and wife Tina of Celina, Texas, Nancy Sagraves and husband Steve of Poetry, Texas; grandchildren, Blake Cox, Amanda Cox, Benton Cox, Jennifer Walker, Emily Jester, Jonathan Wade II, Jessica Powell, Bradley Wade, Taylor Raney, Colby Sagraves; great-grandchildren, Molly, Jaxon, Joshua, Natalie, Julie, Jaxton, Jaycee, Jersie, Judge, Brooklyn, Riggs; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Bates and Edna Severn;  numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, O. Blake Wade and Edward A. Rea; siblings, Connie Tarver, Bonnie Malone, Hubert “Bob” Severn, Walter Severn, Givens Severn, Mark Severn, Jr., Chris Terry, and Billy Severn.

A celebration of life graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at the Tom Cemetery with Aubrey Thompson officiating.   

Family will receive friends Monday, May 23, 2022 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Clardy Funeral Service Chapel.
