Patricia Jean Bean, age 74, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday Sept 27, 2023.
After a 3 year battle with cancer she passed away peacefully surrounded by her
family.
She was born June 8, 1949 in Eagletown, Oklahoma, the daughter of Troy and Cozy
Crenshaw. Her childhood home was in Wright City, Ok. She attended Wright City
School. She was married to Joe Bob Bean and they had two children. She lived her
entire life in McCurtain County, where she worked as a USDA Poultry Inspector for
many years until retirement.
Patricia enjoyed reading, listening to music, sewing, making quilts for her family,
gardening and being outdoors. Spending time with her family and friends meant the
world to her and she looked forward to visits from her grandchildren and great-
grandchildren.
She loved telling stories of her childhood and greatly missed her parents and
siblings…She enjoyed long talks and visits with her lifelong friends Judy, Doris Ann
and Paula.
She was easy going and loved unconditionally. She touched the lives of those who
knew her with her huge heart, bright smile and fun sense of humor.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Jerry Crenshaw, Billy Troy
Crenshaw, Jimmy Crenshaw and half-brother, Billy Gene Irvin; sisters, NancyGaskey,
Brenda Johnson, Rada Faye Crenshaw, Rebecca Crenshaw and half-sister, Lucille
Whalen; daughter-in-law, Jeanine Bean; and nephew, Chad Crenshaw.
Patricia is survived by her son, Bobby Bean of Glover; daughter and son-in-law,
Natalie and Mike Bonds of Glover; half-brother, Bob Harrison; numerous
grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, a host of friends
and her special cat, “Midnight”.
Family will receive friends Thursday, October 5, 2023 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the
Clardy Funeral Service Chapel. A private inurnment will be held June 8, 2024 at the
Old Wright City Cemetery per her request to have her ashes buried between her
parents.
