Paul Fuller, 90 of Idabel, passed away June 7, 2025 at Idabel, Oklahoma. He was
born September 2, 1934 at Hazlehurst, Mississippi, the son of Howard and
Johnnie Norwood Fuller. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church
at Idabel. He was preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Joy and Jim
Knight.
A veteran of the United States Army National Guard, Paul dedicated eight years to
serving his country, eventually earning an E-5 Sgt rank. He obtained his Bachelor
of Science degree from Mississippi State University in Forest Management. He
married Margaret Champion in Talladega, Alabama on June 19, 1960 and they
shared nearly sixty-five years of marriage.
With a love for the outdoors and nature, Paul worked as a forest ranger for the
United States Forest Service for thirty-three years.
Paul is survived by his wife, Margaret Fuller; sons, Keith Fuller and wife Julie of
Smithville, Oklahoma, Michael Fuller of Blue Ridge, Texas; nephew, Perry Knight;
great-nephew, Dalton Knight; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren,
other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, June 19, 2025 at
the First United Methodist Church with Don Shaw officiating.
A private burial was held at Canfield Cemetery.
