Pauline McGee

Pauline McGee, age 80, formerly of Bethel, Oklahoma, passed away on December 20, 2025, in Dallas, Texas. She was born July 23, 1945, in Bethel, the daughter of Battiest and Mary Wade Noahubi. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gilbert McGee; brothers, Norvell Noahubi, Melvin Noahubi, and Benjamin Wade; and nephews, Jared Noahubi, David Noahubi, Jr., and Angelo Tinajero.

Pauline had a true love for shopping and gardening and was an avid sports fan throughout her life. In her school years at Battiest, she enjoyed playing basketball and fastpitch softball, and later developed a love for soccer and volleyball. Her heart truly came alive around sports. She faithfully followed her favorite teams, the Texas Rangers, Dallas Mavericks, Dallas Cowboys, and the OU Sooners. Above all, she was her granddaughter’s biggest supporter, proudly attending and following her through all school activities.

A hardworker, Pauline took great pride in her home and kept everything in order. She was known for being early to bed, early to rise, and always busy doing something. She was dependable, strong, and steady, someone her family could always count on. Family meant everything to her, and she especially looked forward to family reunions and time spent with loved ones.

She is survived by her sons, David McGee and Jeffery McGee, both of Dallas; her granddaughter, Ashley McGee of Dallas; brothers, Alton Noahubi and Nolan Noahubi, both of Bethel; sisters, Geraldine Jessie of Dallas, Selina Martinez of Bethel, Loretta Hunt of Idabel, Hilda Tinajero of Wright City, and Asterline Gonzales of Gonzales, Texas; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, December 26, 2025, at Kulli Chito Presbyterian Church in Bethel, with Bro. Archie Crosby officiating. Interment will follow at Kulli Chito Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., just prior to the service.
