Peggy Allen

Peggy Rae Allen, 75 of Idabel passed away June 26, 2025 in Idabel.  Peggy was born January 15, 1950 in Salem, Oregon to Mary Delores Weston and Cecil Cannon. She spent many years in Salem before moving to Idabel.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jimmy Godsil; sister, Vickie Lee Godsil Rogers.

Peggy loved her church and her church family. She enjoyed photography, card making for many occasions, flower arranging, and traveling. Peggy loved spending as much time as she could with her family who will all miss her dearly and cherish the memories they made with her.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years and 10 days, Jerry Allen, (he adds the 10 days when he talks about it); son, Jeremy Allen; sons and daughters-in-law, Brian and Carrie Gartman, Jamie and Kim Gartman; daughter and son-in-law, Jessica and Nick Beesley; sisters and brothers-in-law, Donna and Terry Hampton, JoAnn Deal and Scott Johnson; ex-husband David Gartman; several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and close friends.

A private ceremony was held with immediate family and close friends.
