Rachel Elizabeth Dollarhide, age 33, of Cerrogordo, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family and friends on December 2, 2025. She was born September 16,1992 in Texarkana, Texas to Donna Marie Crenshaw and Steven Harol Dollarhide.
Rachel was a Haworth High School graduate, and was proud to earn her Master’s of Physician Associates at the University of Oklahoma, though she was a die hard OSU fan where she attended undergrad school. She built a respected 9 year career as an exemplary Physician Assistant at the Choctaw Nation Health Clinic in Idabel, known for her knowledge, empathy, and commitment to improving the lives of those she cared for.
Rachel was known to be the glue of the family, always coordinating frequent family gatherings. Her life was marked by genuine altruism, and she cared deeply for those around her – always putting her friends and family first. There was nothing more important to her than family and her 2 kids, Haven and Tessa. Rachel loved sports and was very competitive, she truly believed “if you aren’t cheating, you aren’t trying”. She loved to shop, cook, decorate, vacation at the beach, participate in American Blue Cattle shows, and watch college football aside from spending time with her family. She was a faithful member of Stateline Baptist Church in Winthrop, Arkansas and loved her church family.
Rachel faced her battle with Synovial Sarcoma with unwavering strength, courage, and faith in God for almost 4 years. She showed resilience every step of the way.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, the late Clyde and Marie Crenshaw; and her paternal grandparents, the late Harol and Donna Dollarhide.
She is survived by her daughters, Haven and Tessa Anderson and their father Derek Anderson of Cerrogordo, Oklahoma; her parents, Steve Dollarhide and Donna Crenshaw of Cerrogordo, Oklahoma; brother, Slade and sister-in-law Hayley Dollarhide of Cerrogordo, Oklahoma; honorary siblings, Shane and Makayla Farley of Shinewell, Oklahoma and Lucas and Justy Farley of Redland, Oklahoma; nephews and nieces, Callum, Emma, Austin, Kace, and Baylor along with numerous other family members and friends.
We cannot imagine life without her, and her absence leaves a void that can never be filled.
Isaiah 40:31 “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint.”
