Randall Welch

Randall Edward Welch, 66 of Idabel, passed away May 17, 2024 at Memorial Heights Nursing Home. He
was born October 18, 1957 at Perryton, Texas, the son of Lela Mae Blair and Claude E. Welch Jr.
Randy lived in the Valliant area for many years. He enjoyed playing cards, dominos and bingo. When he
was younger he played guitar. He always loved to joke around to make people laugh. He was a friend to
many and a true gentleman.
Randy is survived by his daughter, Brandi Cain; sisters, Sharon Stephens and husband Gary of
Midlothian, Texas, Glenda Copeland and husband Wayland of Idabel, Cassondra Welch of Texas, Traci
Weeks and husband Kevin of Woodward, Oklahoma, Angela Pingry and husband Larry of Woodward,
Oklahoma, Susan Welch and fiancé Steve of Emory, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives
and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father and step-mom, Claude E. Welch Jr. and Corlena Welch; mother,
Lela Mae Billy Blair; niece Mikaela Warren; nephews, Jesse Wales and Michael Stephens; and uncle, Roy
Dale Billy.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 20, 2024 at the Valliant Cemetery
with Steve Endsley officiating.
Family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Sunday, May 19, 2024 at Clardy Funeral Service.
