Randy Lynn “Rando” Gray, 68 of Idabel, passed away November 12, 2023 at his home with his family by
his side. He was born September 26, 1955 at Dallas, Texas, the son of Bobbie Sue and Aubrey Gray. He
was affiliated with the Freewill Baptist Church.
Randy owned and operated his own construction company, Rando Construction, for over forty years. He
was an extremely hard worker, working from daylight to dark and always on the go. In his free time, he
enjoyed singing country music, riding motorcycles, writing stories and gardening.
Quiet and reserved until he had something to say, Rando loved life, his family and friends.
Rando is survived by his wife of twenty-three years, Carol Gray; daughters, Brandy Gray Runyon and
husband Tim of Tuttle, Oklahoma, Jennifer Gray of Oklahoma City; granddaughter, Justine Rogers of
Tuttle, Oklahoma; brother, Danny Gray of Idabel, sister, Karen Dodds and husband Harvey of Houston,
Texas; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Rando was preceded in death by his parents, Bobbie Sue and Aubrey Gray; brothers, Lonnie “Frosty”
Gray and Donnie Gray.
A celebration of life service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 18, 2023 at the Freewill
Baptist Church in Idabel with John Gray officiating. Interment will follow in the Canfield Cemetery.
