Reba Annette “Nez” Jones, 85, passed away April 29, 2026, in Idabel, Oklahoma.
She was born December 3, 1940, to Claude Jones and Lina (Lambert) Jones.
Reba was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings.
Reba was a hardworking and caring woman who dedicated 32 years of service to
Memorial Heights Nursing Home. Through her many years there, she touched the
lives of countless residents, families, and coworkers with her kindness, strong
work ethic, and compassionate heart.
She enjoyed quilting, reading, and collecting Elvis Presley items. Reba loved Elvis
and was proud of her collection. She also enjoyed getting her hair and nails done
and looked forward to her Friday lunches with her dear friend, Bess Potts. Reba
was feisty, likeable, and full of personality. She had a wonderful sense of humor, a
caring spirit, and a way of putting others before herself. Above all, she had a very
strong faith that guided her throughout her life.
She is survived by her sons, Jeff Bell and wife Lorrie of Idabel, Oklahoma, David
Allen and wife Sharon of Loveland, Colorado; grandchildren, Arlisha Fussel and
husband Jay of Cibolo, Texas, Grant Allen of Cincinnati, Ohio, Liza Allen of San
Jose, California, Colten Meddock and wife Cari of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, and
Dakota Gregory and wife Kristina of Haworth, Oklahoma; great-grandchildren,
Saige, Sydney, Summer, Bladen, Baylen, Bryten, Paisyn, Sayler, and Adlei
Dakota; special friends, Phyllis and Darrell Courtney, Brenda Cubit and Sue May; along with
a host of nieces, nephews, other family members, and loved ones.
A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, May
4, 2026 at Redland Cemetery with Jimmy Smalling officiating. Interment will
follow.
