Ruby Lee Pigg, 98, passed away Sunday, February 1, 2026, in Kansas, Oklahoma.
She was born June 7, 1927 to Marion Clarence Womack and Annie Lee
(Woodruff) Womack.
Ruby was a faithful and devoted member of the Church of Christ in Garvin. She
lived a life rooted in service and love, generously giving her time as a volunteer at
the Garvin Community Center and cherishing every moment spent with her family.
She especially enjoyed watching basketball, attending bluegrass festivals,
traveling, hiking, hunting, fishing, and participating in Bible study and worship.
Her greatest joys in life were her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-
great-grandchildren, who brought her endless pride and happiness.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Donald Pigg, Sr.;
and her siblings, Edgar “Bud” Womack, Archie Womack, Amouis Womack, Mary
Jo Whitten, Edna Jewel “Sis” Coffey, Faye Capps, Norma Jean Hess, Charles
Womack, and Nita McCain.
She is survived by her son, Donald Pigg, Jr. and wife Sheila; her grandchildren,
Duane Pigg and wife, Rachel, and B.J. Nance and spouse Michael; eight great-
grandchildren; along with a host of great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews,
and other cherished loved ones.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 5,
2026, at Clardy Funeral Service Chapel. A Celebration of Life service will be held
at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 6, 2026, at The Church in Millerton with Pastor
Brent Coffey officiating. Interment will follow in the Garvin Cemetery.
