Sheila Sullivan

Sheila Ann Sullivan was born February 7, 1947 in Orlando, Florida, the daughter of Marvin Alderman and Sara Batton. She married Fate Sullivan November 1, 1965. She was a Florida native until she and her husband Fate moved to Oklahoma.

Over the years, Sheila spent her time fishing on the coast, watching sports and rodeos, and mostly loving her 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, her family and her dogs.

Sheila passed away January 1, 2023, in Kansas City, Missouri at the age of 75.

Sheila was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin Alderman and Sara Lancaster; brother, Mike Haddock; sisters, Dorita Haddock and Beth Scarbourgh; and grandson, Bob Parsons.

Sheila leaves to cherish her memory, her husband Eldon “Fate” Sullivan; son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Dana Sullivan of Idabel; daughter and son-in-law, Ava and Dennis Knechel of Idabel; brothers, Doug “Corky” Williams and wife Lorraine of Florida, Marvin Alderman of Idabel, Hank Alderman and wife Jennefer of Idabel; grandchildren, Mandy Parks, Cecil Bryant, Sarah Wax, Raysha Sullivan, Nora Sullivan, Jessica Pruitt, Colton Pruitt, 13 great-grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews and friends.

Family will host a memorial celebration of her life at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, January 8, 2023 at the Forest Hill Baptist Church in Idabel with Bro. Russell McDaniel officiating.
