Shirley Wynell Womack, age 71, of Garvin, Oklahoma, passed away on September
1, 2025. She was born on September 18, 1953, to Elmer Reich and Bernice
(Coffman) Horton.
Shirley was a woman full of joy who never met a stranger. She loved to talk, write
down recipes, work crossword puzzles, and was happiest when spoiling her great-
grandchildren. She had a giving spirit, always putting others before herself, and
devoted her time to volunteering and organizing fundraisers for the Volunteer Fire
Department. Above all, she will be remembered for her cheerful nature and her
constant happiness.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Scottie Dale Womack; her
brother, Alvin Reich; and her stepfather, Johnny Horton.
Left to cherish her memory is the love of her life, Jerry D. Womack of Garvin, OK;
her daughters, Charity Renice Johnson of Broken Bow, OK and Hope Womack of
Garvin, OK; her sons, John Manuel Womack of Dallas, TX and Chance Womack
of Garvin, OK; her sisters, Anita Gail Knox and husband Mike of Broken Bow,
OK, Kathy German and husband Sam of Garvin, OK, Trina White and husband
Sam of Garvin, OK; grandchildren, Makayla Perkins and Wesley Caldwell of
Idabel, OK, Dalton Perkins of Idabel, OK, Scottie Cahill of Tulsa, OK, Landon
Cahill of Garvin, OK and bonus grandchild, Allie Lamb of Idabel, OK; and her
beloved great-grandchildren, Kimber Caldwell, Kyler Caldwell, and Karslyn
Caldwell. She is also survived by a host of family, friends, and loved ones who
will miss her dearly.
The family will receive friends from 6:00–8:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 4,
2025, at Clardy Funeral Service Chapel. A Celebration of Life Service will be held
at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 5, 2025, at the Forest Hill Cemetery Pavilion.
Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery with Pastor Brent Coffey officiating.
