Stanley F. Horn passed away November 26, 2025, at the age of 82. He was born August
21, 1943, to Sherman David Horn and Daisy Proctor Horn.
Stanley was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Shirlene Horn; his brother, David Horn;
his great-nephew, Clarence Vandiver.
Stanley was a quiet and reserved man whose calm presence spoke louder than words. He loved
collecting coins and stamps, reading a wide range of books, and spending peaceful moments in
reflection. He was known and admired as a good man, gentle, and a person of integrity. He
carried himself with honesty and lived life with a quiet grace that earned deep respect from those
who knew him.
He is survived by his nieces, Wilma Vandiver and her husband, Eddie Vandiver, and Paula Horn
and her husband, Jake Horn; his nephew, Ed Flood; as well as a host of great-nieces, great-
nephews, great-great-nieces, great-great-nephews, extended family members, friends, and all
who knew and loved him.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, December 5, 2025, at Clardy
Funeral Service Chapel with Michael Tolliver officiating.
