Sue Nichols, a beloved homemaker, devoted mother, and cherished grandmother, passed away
on December 8, 2024, in Texarkana, Texas. Born on September 15, 1937, in Garvin, Oklahoma,
Sue was a shining light in the lives of those who were fortunate enough to know her. She was
one of thirteen children, brought up in a family that instilled the values of hard work and
selflessness, traits that defined her throughout her life.
Sue was the epitome of a nurturing spirit. She devoted her life to caring for her family, always
putting others before herself. Her warmth and generosity knew no bounds, as she effortlessly
created a haven in her home filled with love and comfort. A talented cook, Sue was famed for
her delectable meals and, above all, her killer pear preserves.
Beyond her love for family, Sue had an unwavering affinity for nature, particularly for animals.
She cherished her chickens and found happiness and peace in tending to her flowers.
Sue is survived by her loving family, including her children, David Nichols, Donnie Nichols, Anna
Presley and husband Jimmy Don; grandchildren, Jonathan Nichols and Bridget Snead, Cody
Nichols, Kayla Manginell and husband Lane, Chrystal Smith and husband Lonnie, Heather
Onstott and husband Ben; six great-grandchildren; brothers, Eddie Graham, Gerald Graham
and wife Carol, Bobby Graham and wife Margaret, Max Graham, Dewey Graham and wife
Debbie; sister, Carolyn Muller and husband George; numerous other relatives and friends who
are forever grateful for the memories shared and the lessons learned from her gentle wisdom.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Douglas and Marie Graham; husband, Glen Nichols;
grandson, Jeffrey Nichols; daughter-in-law, Debbie Nichols; siblings, Joe Graham, Ike Graham,
Delores Thompson, Judy Williamson, Junior Graham and Pat Graham.

Family will receive friends Wednesday, December 11, 2024 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the
Clardy Funeral Service Chapel.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 12, 2024 at the
Clardy Funeral Service Chapel with Bro. Russell McDaniel officiating. Interment will follow
in the Forest Hill Cemetery.
