Timothy Ray Lang

Timothy Ray Lang, 73, passed from this life May 28, 2024 at his home in Garvin, Oklahoma. He was born February 11, 1951 in Bakersfield, California to William Ray Lang and Elizabeth Lang Tims.

Tim was a member of the American Legion. He had two tours in Vietnam where he received the Bronze Star, Oak Leaf Cluster and many ribbons. He worked for Young Oil Company in Idabel for 20 years.

Tim loved the outdoors, taking walks, watching the birds and feeding the squirrels. He especially loved playing with his grandchildren.

Tim leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Mary Ann Lang of Garvin; sons, Timothy Ray Lang, Jr. of Illinois, Bart Lee Lang of Garvin, Oklahoma; daughter and son-in-law, April Elizabeth and Lee Devers of Idabel; sister-in-law, Naomi “Susie” Lang of Tolar, Texas; 5 grandchildren, Shelby Lang, Aaron Devers, Elizabeth Devers, Kiersten Lang, Aidan Lang; and a host of other family members and friends that will miss him dearly.

Tim is preceded in death by his parents; brother William “Pete” Lang; sister, Rita Donaldson.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 31, 2024 at Forest Hill Cemetery Pavilion with Bro. Jerry Falling officiating.
