Tony Garcia, 52, of Idabel, passed away September 17, 2021 at Sherman, Texas. He was born December 23, 1968 at Shelby, Mississippi, to Tony L. Garcia and Mary Perez. He married the love of his life, Lisa Atwood October 8, 1999 at Texarkana and has spent every minute with her that he could since that day.
Tony owned and operated Garcia Trucking. He would get up early to go to work so that he could be home to spend time with his family. He loved life. He loved playing basketball with his son. He was an encourager and supporter that loved his wife, each of his six children, and every one of his seventeen grandchildren, however it didn’t stop there. He often stepped into the role of honorary father for many, helping them with basketball and bull riding and was the number one fan for the Haworth Lions Basketball girls and boys teams.
Tony had a huge heart and never met a stranger. He always had a smile on his face. He was the life of the party and enjoyed spending time on Broken Bow Lake with his family and friends hanging out on his pontoon boat fishing and also camping.
