Marvin Wayne Needham, Sr. 73 of Idabel passed away, July 13, 2019 at his home. He was born February 28, 1946 at Dice, Arkansas, the son of Elmer and Thelma Needham. Later, his family moved to Haworth, and he lived most of his life in southeast Oklahoma. Wayne married Maxine Cagle on December 8, 1991.
Wayne worked hard all his life and he loved gardening and the outdoors. He drove a truck, worked in the woods and owned and operated Wayne’s Furniture Store and Wayne’s Small Engine Repair. He never met a stranger.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Ricky Lynn Needham; great-grandson, Hunter Jet Freeman; brother, Robert Needham and sisters, Lillian, Maryetta and Virginia.
Wayne leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Maxine; sons, Marvin Needham, Jr. and wife, Nita and James Needham and wife, Robin; daughter, LaDonna Payne and husband, Richard of McAlester; daughter, Tammy Irvin and husband, Mike of Hugo; sister, Sue Coats of California; special friends, Ben and Marie Tucker; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at the Clardy Funeral Service Chapel with Bro. Wayne Freeman officiating. Interment will follow in the Forest Hill Cemetery in the Forest Grove Community.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at the Clardy Funeral Service Chapel.
