Wayne served in the Air National Guard after graduating from high school. When he completed his service and was offered opportunities to continue in the military, he chose to return to Nebraska to begin farming, which was one of his passions. Wayne became a successful rancher in central Nebraska, and after reading an article in a magazine about Belize, decided he wanted to try ranching there, too. After a year of living in Belize with his family, Wayne returned to Nebraska for the next eleven years until moving to Oklahoma in 2000 where he also ranched. For the past six years, Wayne spent time in both Oklahoma and Belize, where he stayed busy as a respected businessman. He always made time to spend with family and friends, especially for traveling around Belize and trips to the coast.
Wayne was an incredibly generous, forgiving, loving, and genuine man with an enormous heart. He gave everyone chances and would help in any way possible. Wayne lived life to its fullest, doing what he loved, spending time with family and friends, and facing every challenge with strength and courage. He will be terribly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Wayne will be available for viewing Sunday, November 28, 2021 from 1:00 - 7:00 at Clardy Funeral Service.
