Zane Preston Keno passed away at his home in Idabel on August 13, 2019. He was born in
McNary, Arizona on August 12, 1963 to Zane Wulon Keno and his mother Ladine. Zane was
preceded in death by his father; grandfather and grandmother, Calvert and Gertie Smith of
Valliant; and several aunts and an uncle.
He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Ladine Keno of Idabel; sister and brother-in-law,
Audie and Kent Smith; nephew and his wife, Brent and Rachael Smith; and niece, Kayla Smith,
all of Haworth.
Zane loved spending time outdoors, working on his truck, and hunting. Later in life, he met
some wonderful friends of Christ and he enjoyed visiting with them and attending church
activities, until he became too ill to go or spend time outdoors. He continued to read his Bible
and spent a great amount of time watching favorite movies and helping take care of his mother.
A Celebration of Life Service will be on Friday, August, 16 at 2:00 p.m. at the Clardy Funeral
Service Chapel in Idabel with Brother Jon Hollinghead officiating. The family is grateful for all of
the love and concern shown by numerous friends and other family members.
1 John 5:11 “Truly, truly, I say unto you, he who hears My word, and believes in Him who sent
Me, has eternal life, and does not come in to judgement, but has passed out of death in to life.”
